So we right currently run we have like five major programs in the areas of food, in the areas of refugee rehabilitation, youth programs, Seniors, Women Empowerment, and Clothing division.

In twenty twenty two, food service program distributed over two hundred thousand pounds of food to the needing residents. Food pantry distributed around one thirty three thousand and five meeting pounds of groceries and every month we have a drive through distribution in which people pick up the food groceries on leave. Each is about seventy pounds of food to each family. And so as you see, I think the next life packaging for food pantry, this is how this office looks like. Really, so we are going to look for a space right now. This is the way the packaging takes place next one place, and so if you see the cars, lines of cars and the volunteers and the food being put in next one. We've also looked into the fact that there is a lot of child hunger in the county and so we are working with the County Resources and we are looking into we have partnered with Linkage to Learning. I don't know if they're here today, but we are really thankful for their partnership. But we're Linkage to Learning and identity where they're picking up food from us and providing them to the schools, where to the low income families. So as yet we have supplied around three fifty families and fourteen thousand pounds of food. But this is going on. So this is really this is really an ongoing product. This keeps on. So the

7:49 refugee Rehabitation program is the program that has food, clothing, job placements, employment, everything in it. This program is led by our miss Bano Mahtun and the next one the Ramadan Project and the food program is run by myself and my kid Sadi Koresh, who was our id support here today. And so we did Ramadan Basket and every year during the pandemic, the numbers were very very high. But right now we see the two. In two thousand and two we distributed around twenty twenty thousand, twenty twenty three, we distributed to twenty thousand and twenty twenty r figures. Over there, I can't see this is the one of the slides where they're distributing. This is the volunteers set up. This is the refugee meal program that when the refugees came in in twenty twenty two, we were providing them hot meals. So we were working with the refugee agencies irc ECDC and Lutherans Store Services and I thank them for their partnership and I hope there here today joining us. So and they would tell us that which refugees are coming in and we would send them hot meals at arrivals so we were able to serve them. We also provide have a partnership with Interfaith Works where we provide food to feed the Homeless program which

9:24 serves twenty four days for to thirty six women dinner. So we have been serving at the at the Interfualter for some years now. And I want to thank and recognize mister Shane Rock who's here today, who set up this partnership with us. So thank you, say Shane, for your leadership and your mentorship. So MCMF Youth Programs is led by a strange hunt. It is it has a number of us. It is it has every sit classes, it has coding classes for low income children or where you have African American Equity Fund for low income African American youth and we have to fail MS Scholarship Fund and as yet we have given them four We started just recently. So we have get donated around four scholarships under the African American Fund in collaboration with the Montgomery College and around four in through the fair Emmed Scholarship Fund. The Women Empowerment program that's sewing classes regularly and is really rehabilitated. Around forty families plus all the time. They have regular sewing classes and this is led by a Miss Bano Maktum. We also have a senior program which is also on the same page, which is led by Ramzansha and Shiputashi and they do regular online classes, yoga, different health and wellness programs and also some senior programs going

10:56 to different places and museums and some discussion. We have a Thanksgiving and a Christmas basket distribution. Last year we distributed to around three hundred families and this year we are looking to do a little more and so if you see this as we get up a grant from the Toys for Toughts and so we distribute toys and food baskets to the to the needy and to in collaboration with the Holiday Gift Basket program. Next, so where where where we are today? We are looking, we are cramped up and we are looking for a space actually, and we are very thankful that County Executive matched the funds and gave us a big four hundred thousand dollars in these funds celebrate it. We are thankful to us Delegate fromar bar Way who probably not here with Anne District thirty nine and six seventeen who funded another six thousand. And I think that we are really a great for their support and we and the search is going on and very soon we will have a We're looking for a ten thousand square for place. So if anybody can help us and guide us in that job aspect, please we would be all welcome. We are looking to expand the child hunger mitigation program and we would request County Executive to see if there is any funding available for that because I really feel for the kids and you know, it's like because we need to develop more partnerships and see sorry that these kids

These are our partners. I know that they are with us in spirit and continue to strengthen all of you and all of us as we do this important work. You know, this one that Brahmadan is one when Muslims are knew themselves in spirit and their concerns for society at large. So may the blessings of the month be with all of you. I know that this community continues to contribute in so many ways, ways that I saw on the campaign trail and continue to see as one of your statewide elected officers. Right, we had a major election cycle in twenty twenty two, witnessed right in front of us here for nothing else with a significantly different not necessarily completely new, which is a good thing. 26:45 You know we're focused on the political and civic engagement arm representing our our Muslim community and beyond. Some of the twenty twenty two election engagement items that we were involved in we're at the Maryland governor governor's level meeting with various governor's candidates expressing some of the views of the Muslim community in terms of their improved respective campaigns. Certainly we're engaged, We're broke and others on the control a race as well as the Attorney General's race at the state level. At the county level, we were very involved in the accounty executives race. Maybe not so much but a little bit on the CANIDAC Council side of things. One of our signature events last year actually was conducting a candidates forum for the county executive seat. And I'm really the thing I'm really happy about, not just the fact then Mark is with us again today, congratulations Mark, is the fact that in our you know, in our forum that we held for the county executen seat, every single candidate representing all parties participated, right. So it wasn't a part as an event to MS season act intended to do that.

28:04 Our intent is really to bring the candidates board, present them to our community members and allowed them to learn about them, the respective campaigns, what they represent, and allowed them to hear from us our Muslim community as well. So that was one of our signature events last year as well Next Life. Please a lot of different advocacy level work that we have conducted there was again both at the national, state and mostly at the local levels. Just a few items just to highlight, and this not inclusive of all the different things that we've been involved in and have been advocating for. Is the anti slum with Phobia built in the US Senate. We participated with our as a spawn as sponsor, but the lead event being Care Maryland and the United Maryland Muslim Council on the Maryland Muslim Lobby Day in Annapolis. The multiple engagements with the County Council and a number of different initiatives you guys are familiar with us hopefully by now, and we'll cut more and more familiar with us, as well as various engagements with the mccarmy County Public School System, which for those who don't know, you know it's a different level engagement than it is with the County Council. Right. So, again, the need to address the needs of our community through various different channels very important for us to do, and we've recently also are beginning the steps to launch a Youth Leadership Program, which

29:37 our youngest member of our board, I mean, Ben Letfa is going to be heading up to really kind of rally our Muslim youth in the whole concept of political activists and political engagement, starting off with things that they might be more interested in. Fact, there's ways for us to learn what you know, our youth are really more interested in and kind of focus on things that way get them more involved and get them more interested in public service.
