Sofia was my classmate from PUC till MSc Biochemistry in Aligarh Muslim University. I was in frozen state when I heard about her death. Dr. Sofia joined Lupin 20 years ago and managed Lupin’s Legal and Compliance functions globally and oversees business in Canada, Japan and Australia.
Prior to joining Lupin, she worked at Ranbaxy and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi. She is a board member and past Chair of the CII-US India Business Forum.
She had a doctorate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Delhi and a management degree from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
